Guns N' Roses Announce Las Vegas Residency

So what can fans expect from the residency? Hits from the band’s golden age (hello, Appetite for Destruction) through Axl’s long-delayed opus, 2008′s Chinese Democracy.

Following sold-out Vegas shows this past New Year’s Eve, Guns N’ Roses will hit The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for a 12-show residency. Titled Appetite for Democracy, the residency kicks off on Halloween and runs three times a week (mostly weekend nights) through November 24th. Ticket on-sale starts August 17 at 10 a.m. EST via the venue’s website and Ticketmaster.

Las Vegas residencies have long been associated with acts like Liberace, and more recently, Rod Stewart and Celine Dion. Axl Rose, however, hopes to toughen up Vegas with a new Guns N’ Roses residency this fall. read more

THE BEACH BOYS

August 9, 2012. No one could have guessed that the Beach Boys would make it 50 years, not even founding member, Brian Wilson.

It’s also visible on their new DVD, Doin’ It Again, which highlights performances from their international reunion tour and interviews from this year. The band will also release two new greatest hits collections (Greatest Hits and Greatest Hits: 50 Big Ones) on October 9, as well as remastered 12 studio albums on September 25. Read the full story on CBS Local
