Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band is taking part in the 2011 Jazz Fest webcast, May 7 & 8!
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell will be broadcasting highlights from the festival at RollingStone.com/jazzfest, starting at 6pm CST on both May 7 and 8. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will be included in the webcast, as well as Arcade Fire, Wilco, The Neville Brothers, Jeff Beck and more!
The eyes of the music world focus on New Orleans for two weeks in late April and early May, but not everyone can make it to town to experience 12 stages of virtually every style of music, the fine arts and crafts and the huge array of Louisiana specialty foods. That's why organizers today announced that highlights from the 2011 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell will be broadcast on RollingStone.com May 7 and 8.
Beginning at 6 p.m. CST on both May 7 and 8, the high definition broadcast will include approximately 4 hours each night of performances, interviews, as well as a trip around the Fair Grounds to give viewers a glimpse at some of the elements that make Jazz Fest so special.
